I originally started this guitar build while I was still in high school over 40 years ago. My senior year I had five periods of wood shop and I spent my time building guitar bodies and trying my hand at neck building. The neck that I built was not finished with a truss rod or fretboard but remained straight for over four decades. The body and neck has been with me all these years, hanging on my walls, stored in a closet, tucked away in a climate controlled storage unit. I often screwed the neck on the body and pretended to play the “finished” guitar. As I have gotten older it occurred to me that I should start finishing some of my old unfinished projects, this guitar is one of those projects.
